This six part series will help you to increase your sustainability literacy and develop your own, practical Sustainability Action Plan. Your plan will allow you to focus on what’s important, what you can control, and what you can do each and every day to operate a sustainable business.
These Workshops will provide you with the background information you need on key sustainability topics.
Over the six part series, Jonathan Pooch (DETA) will help you develop your own Sustainability Roadmap for your business as well as increase your sustainability literacy and knowledge.
Each Workshop will focus on a key pillar of sustainability. Together we will assess and discuss how relevant this is to your business, ‘what good looks like’ and what we need to do to take steps towards where you want to get to.
The focus of the Workshops will be on practical, implementable change anchored to best practice sustainability. Key focus areas for the sessions will include:
-The importance of setting good strategy
-Understanding (and communicating) the ‘why’
-Identifying what is important
-Culture and inclusion
Nature and Supply Chain
-Sustainable supply/value chain
-Nature Offsets/insets for carbon
Reporting and communication
-Community and stakeholder engagement
-What next? How do we implement the plan?
The series is targeted at senior leaders who are new to sustainability, or have had sustainability added to existing portfolios. Businesses should attend if they are at the start of the journey and are looking for a practical, common sense approach to getting started in a meaningful way. Attendees of this series will not be required to start with a strong baseline awareness of sustainability.
