Accounting for non-accountants is designed specifically for those who need to read basic financial statements and improve their understanding of key accounting concepts. This online workshop will improve your financial understanding.

 Through practical examples and exercises, you will learn:

  • The key elements of an Income Statement

  • The important features of a Balance Sheet

  • The purpose of depreciation

  • Understand the jargon used by accountants

  • Read your own financial statements

 

Duration & Format

A 3-hour course facilitated online.

This will be a mix of short teaching videos participants can watch in their own time (2 x 15 minutes) and over 2 hours of live online teaching.
This is done to provide some variety, rather than just online teaching. Each topic begins with easy examples and builds towards the more complex, as participants are guided through financial statements, their classifications and groupings, and other related issues.
