Over the last few months, we have been working closely with the Minister of Small Business and Manufacturing, Hon Andrew Bayly and officials at the Ministry of Businesses, Innovation, and Employment (MBIE) to ensure that the new government’s commitment to reducing red tape is focussed on the real issues for you here in Canterbury.
Through the session, we aim to help MBIE understand not just the financial burden but also the time and effort involved with compliance. This will drive the development of effective solutions and a report summarising the findings will be presented to the Minister of Small Business & Manufacturing, Hon Andrew Bayly in August.
